..."This study has been suspended. (awaiting amendment approval)"??????????...suspended recruiting patients because he's waiting for an "amendment approval"????...what "amendment" is he planning to make in the middle of the study?!...I've never heard of such a thing!...heck, the study should already be almost complete by now!...so will he have to start from scratch?...

...hmmmmm...I dunno...I have to wonder whether something else is at work here...
