Sorta makes tracking order numbers an exercise in futility, doesn't it?

What would help a little is to note the return address of both the confirmation email and the shipping label. If the order was shipped from CT, then it was fulfilled by Star's fullfillment house. Since they're handling it, they may use the same numbering system. If I were setting it up (and I did that sort of thing for several years) that's what I'd do.

One other possibility to explore, however, is that case (wholesale) orders might use a different series. Remember, Star would like to know that information also. Keeping track of that by customer ID (GNC, CVS, etc.) would be normal. Subtracting that total from the total number of wholesale orders would give a rough idea of how many health professionals were ordering.
