Mr. Daniel R. Baker, Dan has been the Chief Executive Officer of America West Resources, Inc. (Formerly Known as Reddi Brake Supply Corp.) since July 10, 2008 and as its Chief Operating Officer since December 2007 and also serves as its President. Mr. Baker serves as the President of Hidden Splendor Resources, Inc. He served as President of Bronco Coal Company (formerly Green Clover Luck Corp). Mr. Baker is a result-oriented executive with more than 33 years of mining experience, 27 of which are in diverse management in business functions, safety, production, strategic planning, forecasting, finance, budgeting, marketing and sales, maintenance, engineering, environmental and project management, construction, business development, administration, policy formulation, training and human resources. Mr. Baker has been providing consulting services for energy companies since 2002. Mr. Baker served as the Chief Operating Officer of America West Resources, Inc. from August 2007 to July 2008 and also served as its Vice President of Coal Operations. He began his business career in mining as a Laborer since 1969 and an extended tour of duty with the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He advanced to Longwall Foreman, Senior Mining Engineer, Longwall Superintendent and Manager of Underground Operations, of U.S. Steel Corporation, Kaiser Steel Corporation, Braztah Corporation, Utah Power & Light Company, Emery Mining Corporation and Kaiser Coal Corporation. He served as an Executive Vice President of CONSOL Energy Inc. since November 1999. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Bronco Energy Fund Inc. (Formerly Green Clover Luck Corp) since December 16, 2004 and served as its President until January 30, 2006. Mr. Baker served as President of C&P Coal Company in Salt Lake City. He served as an Executive Vice President of COSOL Energy, Inc. until November of 1999, where he provided overall leadership, strategic direction and management to all mining operations to produce quality coal at a low cost and with high safety standards. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Interwest Mining Company, a subsidiary of PacifiCorp from January 1998 to November 1999. He served as the Vice President of Fuels of PacifiCorp. since January 1998 and was responsible for both underground and surface mines in Utah, Wyoming, Washington and Australia for PacifiCorp. He served as a Member of the Mining and Fuels Team for PacifiCorp's international activities. He served as Vice President of Operations of Interwest from 1987 to January 1998. He serves as the Chairman and Vice President of Utah Mining Association. He served as Vice Chairman of Commodore Applied Technologies. He has been a Director of America West Resources, Inc. since August 15, 2008. He has been a Director of Bronco Energy Fund Inc. since December 16, 2004. He serves as a Director of Hazelwood Power Company and Interwest Mining Company. He serves as a Member of the National Mining Association. He served as a Director of Consolidation Coal Co. He is the 2002 Recipient of the John E. Willson Distinguished Alumnus Award at the University of Utah. He is a Member of the American Institute of Mining Engineers. Mr. Baker holds a B.S. in Mining Engineering at the University of Utah in 1975.
