I believe the deals are signed. If you think about it, we all but knew the deal was to be signed, so that really is not major news. The release of the DMX album has been under much speculation within the Hip Hop Music Industry as this deal was pending. So... the other side of the coin could be that they want to PR with a One Two Punch stating that the deal is signed and their first major release is DMX, single being released on such and such date with the album being released on such and such date.

Now that I think about it... this may be the right way to go about it now.
