Mikey are you kidding me? 1) Corporations do NOT pay taxes. You and I and everyone who uses their products and services pay the taxes as an embedded cost. So let's not kid ourselves.

We need to cut waste. So what is waste? Let's start with the Governement. Government is a cost factor on a balance sheet as it produces no goods. They have salaries higher than the average and pensions while most folks have 401k's. They also have better benefit plans and contribute less. On top of that they have to give away more goodies every year to get their budgets increased and justify their existenece. They make up rules and regulations that take productive time, energy and money away from private industry and our personal lives. They have little control over fraud and abuse also. How about cutting there and cap all government spending to 18% of GDP period.

Then we can talk about leveling out taxes and closing loopholes to disengage Government from using the IRS and codes to social engineer. Everyone should pay taxes. As it is now 47% pay no Federal Income Tax. Who do you think they will most likely vote for? The person that allows that to continue or the one that requires they contribute. It is all about power and control. One party wants you to be subserviant and the other self reliant.
