Hell yeah it would backfire. It's already backfiring and has been for a decade. It's just been pushed under the rug, like most important issues. 'Out of sight, out of mind' is how most people think. It's like they are purposely setting the dominos to fall in 2012. So many billionaires have moved money to gold and silver for a reason. Paulson just doubled his holdings in Goldcorp I think it was, Sprott bought like 100 million worth of silver lol. These are signs, if not of the coming crisis then they are hints at wise investment moves at the least.
