linda1 i wrote a couple of letters to judge block years ago when he was deciding on damages, after ruling in our favor vs the govt. there was a very significant time delay in his decision due, i think, to his having had lumbar surgery. i spoke to his secretary at that time, but never received a reply from him directly. had this decision come in a more timely fashion, this whole matter would have been moot as wamu was obligated to render stock worth what the dollar value of the warrants was. also, how could the unsigned contract, which omitted the option of cash, taken precedence over the signed one which did? a contract can't be unilaterally altered without input from the counter party.
