I remember one time my dad was fishing The Columbia River for sturgeon and he got one in that weighed over 400 pounds. Had to put a rope through the gills to finally get it in. Amazing fish that one. Course that was 45 years ago too. A diver was in the same area the next week and "roped" one that was over 500. They used a winch on a truck to haul it in. Not fair fishing.
