OmniAmerican Bancorp, Inc. is the holding company for OmniAmerican Bank. OmniAmerican Bank is a federally chartered savings bank. Its business consists of accepting deposits from the general public and investing those deposits, together with funds generated from operations and borrowings, in mortgage loans secured by residential real estate, consumer loans, consisting primarily of indirect automobile loans (automobile loans referred to the Company by automobile dealerships), and to a lesser extent, commercial real estate, real estate construction, commercial business loans, and direct automobile loans. The Company’s revenues are derived primarily from interest on loans, mortgage-backed securities, and other investment securities. It also generates revenues from fees and service charges. Its primary sources of funds are deposits, principal and interest payments on securities and loans, and borrowings. OmniAmerican Bank has one subsidiary, which is OmniAmerican, Inc.
