For all of you out there who are hoping that APS does indeed make this their "official pick" and are more than eager for a NSR$ repeat performance in AWSR - bear this in mind. Let's say you played their last pick - NSR$ - and you caught it at .21 (which is close proximity at which 90% of traders were able to get in). According to APS, they had first alerted it at .07. Thus, it was already up 200% by the time you're in. Over the next 6-7 weeks, it ran to a high of $1.72. That's a 2,350% gain from .07.
Now along comes AWSR, which APS first alerted at .29. (Then, as we all know, retracted the alert, but that's a whole other story). For the sake of this analogy, in order to realize the same percentage gain as NSR$, AWSR must climb from .29 to $7.10 - and that's IF they are the next "pick." That's quite a task to expect. AND, I would imagine that the turbulence between $1.00 and $1.80 is going to be absolutely ruthless, as there are literally THOUSANDS of people who bought in up there and would probably love to just make it out alive after having watched their brokerage accounts plummet over the past few days.
So for those of you who are able to stick it out - more power to you. And for the record, I have no current position in AWSR, although I very well might. Right now, I just think that it's a 50/50 crap shoot.
Food for thought....
