The current Solid waste permit has an "approved design capacity" of 75 tons per day. That's not a "limit", but there is a quarterly limit of 5850 tons ( http://sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1381105/000121390011003255/f8k061411ex99i_jbi.htm ). Using a 13 week quarter and a 5 day work week, 75 tons/day = 4875 tons/quarter. Using a 6 day work week, 75tons/day = 5850 tons/quarter.
I don't think that that's a coincidence and suspect that that may be the way the limit was derived.

A limit of 75 tons/day for 2 machines is a limit of 75000lbs of plastic per machine. At 4000lbs/hr, 75000lbs would operate a processor for 18.75 hours.

So, under the constraints of the current permits, the company could operate both processors at an input rate of 4000lbs each for 18.75 hours/day for 6 days a week.
Why then does the company have to wait until it "receives approval on its amended Solid Waste Permit from the NYSDEC" before it proceeds "to operate both processors at 4,000 lbs. per hour" as it intends to do, according to the press release?

(Check my math, please.)

ps. FWIW, should the above levels of hourly input (4000lbs/processor/hr) be employed in a 5 day week the existing permits would allow for operation for 22.5 hours/day. The question doesn't change.

I'm tryin ta think but nuttin happens......Curly
