As far as you know, they could of already used your shares to naked short (if you have a margin account). But you still have 1 Million shares, not like if they did use your shares to short you no longer have any. Your brokerage could lend out your shares to be shorted, unless you have them locked up. Or ask them not to let your shares be loaned out. Again, this is only if you have a margin account.
