can we not call a person a droid, but refer to the "droids" ;) ... I mean... personal attacks are not nice and I'm probably as guilty as anyone, but I am a paying member and it really ticks me off that people like Dougster are allowed mulitple user names and DON'T pay and I'm subsidizing him.. :)

Believe me, as a recipient of same, I feel your pain. Maybe you noticed, that I removed post 19652, DougSF30, ummmmm I mean Doug,....... ummmmmm I mean UPC,...... ummmmmm I mean Chipdesigner's (cough) response to your post? Especially since clearly your statement about some people's multiple aliases is obviously true, and the subsequent response of said poster to your statement, questioning your truthfulness, was certainly a personal attack. No doubt that one won't be restored by Matt

Droid, Intellabie, Tellatubie, etc etc etc are all derogatory terms, that are in a grey area, but IMO, they ARE attacks, but not always necessarily personal attacks. The difference is in this case, instead of using it as a general description of a group of people, a single person, or people are SPECIFICALLY identified, and named. So yes, In my mind, that makes it PERSONAL.

If I was to go by IH Admin Matt's actions on other similar posts, then historically HE has seen fit to remove those types of posts. Maybe you noticed, that this time, I didn't. So, IF I was, to remove the 2 posts in question, the one from you to Dan, and the response, then there is no doubt in my mind that those posts WOULD NOT be restored by Matt.

All I'm saying is, Let's not give Matt more work then he deserves, OK.
