I won't speak for him but I want to belive that he used the term "bad" in a good way such as radical, rad, all the slangs used to approve.

Cool doesn't necessarly refer to the temperature.

That is unless he had intentions of purchasing more shares and didn't get them in time which in that case might be bad.
