I have Merrill Lynch and Etrade my etrade trades are always 9.99 and my Merrill Lynch is based on a percentage. I think my transaction fee was 200 or 300 dollars but that's nothing in my eyes. I've had much higher transaction fees though I bought a lot of shares with ML which is why it was so high and they hate penny stocks.
