and they don't exactly "give away" shares - they use them as currency to acquire goods and services - in AERN's case, oil producing properties.
how else would you have them finance these property acquisitions?
even if ALL authorized shares are issued, the market cap right now for AERN is less than $7 million. when you compare that to the revenue potential from the deals already announced and/or in production, there is huge upside here.
