Static electricity, sparking, explosions, etc. etc. etc........are not a problem while processing coal in the KDS. The BTU value of low grade high moisture coal is increased after being introduced to the KDS (Mr. Coal, meet Mr. KDS)...............which is a good thing.

PS I hear doctors will do lots more research on micronized coal in the future.......so I'm told.
