FOIA has arrived.

And it looks like Dean can continue to deceive shareholders:

Dear Mr. XXXXX:
This is in reply to your Freedom of Information Act request, received in the Center for
Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) on December 20, 2011.

After a careful examination and consideration of your request and the records
associated with it, we have determined that the requested records are not releasable.
The records you have requested contain proprietary, confidential commercial
information, and are protected from disclosure pursuant to 5 USC § 552(b)(4). This
section of the FOIA statute states that government employees are obligated to withhold
information about regulated entities when the release of that information would impair
the entity’s intellectual property rights. If you seek more clarification about protected
information, you may refer to 21 CFR 21.69(b).

If you believe we are denying you access to information that you feel you are entitled to
receive, you may request reconsideration of our decision. Please let us know in writing either
by email or at the address listed below within 30 days from the date of this letter that you are
requesting reconsideration of our decision. If we do not receive a response in that time
period, we will consider the matter closed.

I am sorry we could not be of further assistance and wish you best of luck in your future
endeavors.

Sincerely,
XXXX

Naturally I've already asked for reconsideration and removal of any information related to IP rights. But it looks like we're left to rely on moronic MTV updates.
