North Springs Resources Encounters Target Mineralization at Goldstar in Arizona-Project Operator Doubles Previous Drilling


LAS VEGAS, NEVADA--(Marketwire -02/23/12)- North Springs Resources Corp. (OTC.BB: NSRS.OB - News)(Pinksheets: NSRS.OB - News) (the "Company" or "North Springs") is pleased to report that it has received a positive work report from project operators at the Company's 20% owned Goldstar/One Arm Joe Gold Project in Arizona (the "Goldstar Property" or "Goldstar"). Drilling at Pad #1 is expected to be completed by February 27th, at which time coring from the 500 foot third drill hole will be forwarded to an independent laboratory for testing. North Springs and its partners are currently conducting a 21-hole drill program at Goldstar, focusing on seven (7) high-priority target areas.

"Field reports from the Goldstar drill program remain positive as project operators continue to improve their drilling efficiency, recently doubling their prior footage per day rate. They plan to further increase the drilling pace now that early stage operational bugs have been worked out of the system," stated Harry Lappa, President of North Springs Resources. "The highlight of this week's Goldstar field report was news that drilling had continued to encounter mineralization consistent with previous exploration and that project operators expect sample results to confirm historic data. We anticipate that the rig will be moved to Pad #2 on Monday to begin drilling the next three holes, this time starting with the deepest 500 foot hole first."

The Company expects to receive sample testing results from the first two drill holes late this week and intends to issue a further press release to disclose the new information. In addition, the Company expects to simultaneously release an original video interview with a Goldstar project geologist discussing the results and other significant points of interest.
