Do you bother to check out the promoters?

No.

I pay no attention to them. Do my own DD. See something wrong with that?

I have a couple of stocks that have been bashed mercilessly because promoters have had run-ins with the law. All promoters probably should have.

Got a personal email from a friend a year or so ago who advised me to dump BIPH immediately because he noted the heavy paid promotion. A math professor I met was also sure BIPH would never get any deal with BSX or anybody else on the same basis.

Good to do your own thinking I think.
