still, if JT does not work hard at this ( and that has always been true ) then it does not get done.

IMO he's the captain of the Tirex ship. every crew member ( including the JV partners ) plays an important role, and the captain motivates and steers.
-
at this point, much of what remains to be done could be out of JT's hands as you suggest. perhaps all he needs to do is sign the finished deal when it becomes complete . . .
