Clearly you are convinced on something about ELTP, otherwise you wouldn't spend so much time telling people how horrible it is. You use the term "general investing public", but didn't mention the "general trading public". Right now the general trading public is winning. the PRs are predictable and so is the trading after they are issued. I believe that the trading/investing public will trend toward pps growth when ELTP shows profitability for at least back to back quarters.

I'm certain ELTP is working out for you as you are "trading from time to time". I'll even go on the record and state that as we drift on low volume waiting for the next PR I'm increasing my profit because I haven't bought back in yet from the last time I sold my trading shares. The influence that traders have on ELTP is allowing me to increase the number of shares I own. Unfortunately, I believe that will end in the next 6-9 months.
