IMHO it's not abnormal nor alarming that a legit CEO, youthful or not, be compensated at this level. It's not excessive considering the average CEO salary for bottom 10 percentile is reportedly >$300k.
FWIW - he hit the nail square on the head presenting difference in maintaining control of company between IPO and venture capitalist financing.
