I considered CDXS briefly when it was discussed on this board around the time of the IPO in mid 2010 (e.g. #msg-50642602). I decided not to invest because CDXS struck me as a company without a clear plan to become profitable.

In mid 2011, Shell, who could easily have bought the whole company for what amounted to bus change, instead transferred its 16% equity stake in CDXS to a JV with Brazil’s Cosan (#msg-63841851).

CDXS’ pharma-API business is not a reason for owning the stock, IMO (#msg-63535620).
