The point is twofold

First, Why would you spend 500.00 for a single BW camera with limited functions? Fixed lens, B&W, NO plug and play Computer connections, Bulky. You can get way better function for way less money!

Second, The PL transmission patents? It appears to me that there is many other cameras that can and will send video over PL? The homeplug alliance will allow ANY camera to do this?

SEVU has been selling this thing as may more than it is. That is the point. For 500.00 you can wire your whole house in COLOR with zoom & Computer connections, And YES you can do it over existing PL!

The technology was created by X-10 in 1978! The patents are expired, SEVU has a patent for there decoder? Who cares! Other new systems with Home Plug will eliminate the SEVU secureview and decoder patents.!
