As was noted Sociallive.com is a Beta site. They have changed the look and strategy over this weekend. Now they are requiring signup to see the nature of the content. I had previously noticed that by the end of the day on Friday they had made some minor changes to the site. I guess we will need to visit it frequently to keep up with the changes:

They seem to be making an effort to differentiate the site from FaceBook. New statement from the home page:
