March 7 is the new and final "drop dead" date for submitting release elections.

Radiumsoup and I are debating - but I am not wed to any position on this - whether the March 7 deadline affects the emergence date. Radium believes that Feb 29 is still E-Day. I am thinking that it may now be March 8.

However...if (and I don't know the answer) the plan provides that you must be a record holder at the end of Feb in order to be able to submit a release election (by March 7), then Radiumsoup may well be right.

Also, I actually hope Radiumsoup is right. Because, as soup rightly pointed out, our NOL's drop in value every day that passes until the plan goes effective and we emerge from BK. The sooner we emerge the better.

I just don't know enough to have a strong opinion on whether E-day is the 29th or the 8th. Let's wait for voo to weigh in; he seems to know everything.
