Mayflower Bancorp, Inc. is a bank holding company of Mayflower Co-operative Bank (the Bank). The Bank is engaged in the acquisition of funds in the form of deposits and make permanent and construction mortgage loans on one- to four-family homes and commercial real estate. The Bank also makes commercial business loans, consumer loans and offers home equity loans and lines of credit. The Bank also invests a portion of its funds in money market instruments, federal government and agency obligations, municipal obligations, various types of corporate debt and equity securities, and other authorized investments. Its savings and lending activities are conducted through its main office in Middleboro and seven full-service offices in Plymouth, Wareham, Rochester, Bridgewater and Lakeville, Massachusetts. It also provides online banking, mobile banking, telephone banking and automatic teller machine (ATM) and debit cards.
