Very true, BUT why doesn't a 585 have a higher implied volatility than a 580? And why doesn't a 605 have a higher implied volatility than a 600?

My confusion is that I understand the time and volatility and out of the money considerations, I do not understand why the gains are out of sequence. It is the being out of sequence that tells me it is th specialist making the random reasons for these odd percentage gains outy of sequence.
