I am fairly certain most on here don't have a clue as to what the term cloud means.

Just a brief education: The term "cloud" is used as a metaphor for the Internet. Early on when someone was giving a presentation about all things Internet - a drawing of a cloud is used to represent the Internet.

It isn't something magical or new. Cloud actually means using shared resources such as Amazon's Web Services (AWS) which have S3 for storage and EC2 for shared computing resources.

In article you referenced all they are talking about is Apple's version of offline storage such as Dropbox - although Apple is claiming it is much better (we will see).

Google has been talking about getting into the cloud storage business via Google Drive.

AMWI has not spoken about cloud storage or computing. But when you run a pump and dump you want to have some new buzz words to stir up interest.

But, the reality is that AMWI don't have anything they have developed themselves (see my post on them ripping off http://doctracking.com/).

The Lokdrop product has online storage (Cloud) which many big time players have already done and AMWI can't compete with them technically.
