Four kinds of positions of posters here that I'm seeing.
1. All in, every dollar invested in your portfolio. Appear to be hanging their every hope on a PR. Posting behavior: compainers. Understandable.
2. Large position holders who are long, but not risking everything. Appear to be patiently waiting, posting here with giddiness in hopes that one morning they will look at their online accounts and see that their large position now becomes their largest amount of dollars percentage wise in their portfolio. Posting behavior: supporters, cheerleaders. Understandable.
3. Day traders grinding away taking small profits here and there. Posting behavior: changes from day to day based on their position. Understandable.
4. MM's. Carefully controlling the PPS movements as best they can. It practically seems criminal, yet we need them. Why? Because then the value of any given stock would be worth millions and we would all be rich. It doesn't work that way though. Posting behavior: more than likely they don't post here.
There is money to be made for everyone, just not all in the same day sometimes. Please respect the positions our fellow traders are taking. For all you know, one day you may take a different position. After all, that's what investors do.
So concludes my thought of the day and I just so happened to be at a computer to post it.
Good luck to everyone.
