Porosity means little

Like I said, bad porosity in my opinion. Belize was a massive promotion, even trumping the Kansas promotion that they relied so heavily on a while back.

My opinion is as follows:

Yes, Porosity is only one small tiny factor in determining a 6,000,000 oil field let alone claiming there is 1 drop of oil.

There are many, many, many things to analyze and perform before one jumps to such leaps.

There are oil saturation, Porosity, Permeability, % of Salt water, mud logs, cuttings, e-logs, etc.

Even if these were all done (which they were not) you STILL don't know if you have a commercial well.

Even when you perform ALL OF THESE AND IF THEY ALL TEST POTENTIAL than you do not claim success! Rather you only get the green light to try to complete the well. Nothing more. Completion comes with it's own set of risks. Once and if it flows than you hope you get enough oil versus water to make it commercial. TECO is still waiting to do the E-log from what the last press release suggested.

So far Belize is holding firm, calling TECO'S basic interpretation of the few things they evaluated "false and misleading".
TECO is also holding firm.

Thus far TECO has not released any 3rd party analysis. Be aware,there are many, many steps that have not been taken to come out with such an extravagant conclusion.
