It had no effect on the trend because it was a buy and the stock was trading about 5-10 trades per second. Also, alot of people do not have level 2 and most rely on a pps that is 20 minutes late. The sale was 15 minutes before close so many people didn't see it.

About the short covering, according to the OTC there hasn't been a short sale since Jan 31st and most brokers don't allow shorting SNDY or other penny stocks. There are some good stock education videos online where you could learn basics like these.
