Pennstreet, when it was posted that CDEx lost their Valimed patent you posted this:

"I really would not worry about any cancelled patent..."

Now that CDEx is in BK11, how will the loss of patent protection effect the value of their main asset- Valimed?


Here an excerpt from Scarednomore's link:

"The bankruptcy court may determine that stockholders don't get anything because the debtor is insolvent. (A debtor's solvency is determined by the difference between the value of its assets and its liabilities.) If the company's liabilities are greater than its assets, your stock may be worthless."

The cancelled Valimed patent should worry shareholders if Valimed is signifiacntly undervalued without patent protection.
