Too much sulphur in the water. Initial look at the swamp around the dome give flase promise of pofits to come. Sulfur content would stunt the rice plants growth and never really produce enough rice and profits to our reach operational costs.

Yes you could row rice, but never enough to compensate for the operating costs. Only way to make a profit would be to be to run the company on promise of new technology that would produce larger crops in the future. Sell stock to keep company going until that new technology comes along.
