Masimo Corporation is a medical technology company that develops, manufactures, and markets non-invasive patient monitoring products that help clinicians improve patient care. The Company invented Masimo Signal Extraction Technology (Masimo SET), which provides the capabilities of Measure-Through Motion and Low Perfusion pulse oximetry. Pulse oximetry is the non-invasive measurement of the oxygen saturation level of arterial blood, or the blood that delivers oxygen to the body’s tissues and pulse rate. In addition, it offers remote monitoring and clinician notification solutions, such as the Masimo Patient SafetyNet. Its solutions and related products are based upon the Masimo SET algorithms. This software-based technology is incorporated into a variety of product platforms depending on the customers’ specifications. On July 2, 2010, it acquired SEDLine, Inc. (SEDLine), which became a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.

Never, invest with money you need to survive. Diversify, patience, set tight stops. $20 or less in commission fees is almost always cheaper than a 5-40%+ drop in share value.
