"An earlier version of this story said a proposed PolyMet Mining Corp. project on Minnesota's Iron Range had been delayed last week after the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) sent a letter to state regulators raising concerns about the company's model for collecting and testing data necessary for an environmental review.
To clarify, the letter was sent Sept. 1, and since then the company has been working with the EPA and other regulators to revise its modeling plan.
Company executives said that the revised plan has been approved and that PolyMet is ready to move ahead with the additional research needed to complete the review."
