iamshazzam: Re: looks like they filed an ammended registration on Jul 22nd - probably were told them that they needed to amend it to get approval - so one could conclude that that was their basis for saying the quiet period was over then

More excuses...

That line of reasoning does not hold water. Last year, they filed 4 ammendments before the SEC declared the statement effective.
