Shorting OTC or penny stocks not allowed.

Please allow me to educate you on a penny stock such as TECO.

Unfortunately shorting penny stocks or OTC stocks are not allowed. Call your brokers to hear this from them. Shorting stocks and buying stocks is good hedging and trading but again Shorting penny stocks is not allowed.

Otherwise Pump and dump companies would pump and short. They can't so they are simply called pump and dump.
