How does your volume stack up to this?? http://slickdeals.net/ That's a customized vbull installation with fully searchable private messages, display options (as in, more than 10 PMs per page) and it looks nice.

I understand there's an outcry at every change, but one of the most common business models for user content on the internet is: you pay for premium, you get rid of ads.

Hell.. not just for the internet... that's how cell and desktop apps work as well. Free version = ads. Pay to get rid of them.

You threw a T in our face a few weeks ago, and now you throw ads back in the face of any new premium user. Again, I know this doesn't apply to me, as even if I didn't have a premium sub for the next 2.5ish years I would just adblock the crap away, but I feel it's a big middle finger to your users and I don't like companies that do that.


And not that it matters much, but I've done as much as I can to be an asset to this forum rather than a PITA. Here's the stupid part.. I'm PAYING for features that help me be a better member of a forum that I'm quickly losing respect for.
