As a decently long time subscriber (saying that because I just subscribed for 3 years this year, so even tho my account is 4 years old, I will have a sub for 6 years), I have to say I'm yet again disappointed in iHub.

I see you've already driven away one of the key content contributors on this site (chasing stars). If that doesn't speak volumes as to how poor of a change this is, it should.

In this day and age, when everyone and their mom (literally, I have vbulletin up on my mom's site) has all of the features of a decent message board, we're stuck w/a jenky system that looks like and functions like it was designed by a high school student in the 90s.... but we pay for it for the functionality. As a web developer... even a .Net web developer of a major company (so non-pretty, functional apps), the look and feel of this board is appalling for what people pay to use it.

iHub, you have my money because I have to, not because I want to. The fact that you kick around your customer base like this is going to come back and bite you in the butt some day, but by then you'll have driven resentment so high that there will be no way to come back from it. Hopefully you realize this and change before it gets to that point.

EDIT: yes, I'm fully aware this change does not apply to me. That does not make me blind to poor customer service for those it does apply to.
