First, I made a sell of a stock in my portfolio. Second, I then made a trade to buy NSRS at $1.62 with the funds that I had just sold. (I trade with Scwab). Since the funds in the first trade weren't settled yet (takes 3-days), I can't sell the NSRS stock until after the 3-day period.

This is a basic rule of trading (at least Schwab tells me it is). If I had bought with cash, then I could have sold immediately.

Clear?

If someone can shed any light on this, or if I'm thinking wrong, please share.
