REALLY ... come on ... REALLY?

You think one year is enough time to perfect, commercialize, produce, market and sell one of the most complicated GM animal products of all time?

Sheesh ... what you people fail to remember is that the method and formulation changed in the middle of the game. SIAL and the ZincFingers were brought in and utilized in early 2011 AFTER the piggybac version of MonsterSilk had been announced in late 2010.

KBLB/Notre Dame rightly decided to retool with the ZincFinger technology and then essentially recreate/improve the existing MonsterSilk product(s) by stabilizing the worm genome before selecting and mass producing one select silkworm out of several strains.

I am truly amazed that Kim and Dr. Fraser have positioned the company to be in commercialization mode so soon.

I am hopeful pure SSP or a commercialzation deal will be announced before the CC. But if it is not we will probably find out when both events will happen as well as the rest of the story. I hope SIAL is part of the picture and makes a larger investment in KBLB. 15 business days left in February, I guess we'll see who on this board had the best EWAG by then.
