Ryan Battis was listed in the same RFI one year ago.

To recap, Laser Energetics (LNGT) came up with the Pistol Grip for the Dazer Laser Guardian thereafter.

Based on LNGT website: "Currently, the Dazer Laser® is the only non-lethal weapon of its kind that can be used eye-safe under 18 meters, all the way down to 1 meter. All other non-lethal optical distracters can cause permanent eye damage under a minimum of 18 meters."

Current RFI is for a Commercial Off The Shelve (COTS) system; with requirement for Pistol Grip as well. More importantly, it's the required safety range that catch my attention - safely engage targets at ranges as close as 10m and should be able to do so at ranges as close as 2m .

Is the current RFI crafted for Laser Energetics?
