Well, Divvy, your point is well taken. I don't argue with those who think maryjane should be legalized period. It's just not for me. I do feel strongly that (like alcohol) it is a major impairment to anyone behind the wheel, and this society is simply not mature enough to know how to legislate it to the point that it wouldn't be used in sufficient moderation. Alcohol in the living room or back yard is no problem, nor would marijuana be. But in a vehicle both are deadly, and marijuana is not as predictable as alcohol. I smell someone smoking it? I look the other way, since it's none of my business or the government's. But I repeat, I choose to give the weed some space as opposed to synthetic drug concoctions put out by big pharma.

The bottom line is that we still have enough trouble dealing with drunk drivers; drunk smokers would only compound the dilemma. Then again, to backtrack, if you lived next door to me and you wanted to toke away, I say, . . . . light 'em up if you got 'em.

Either way, as for mm, all I want is for the government to get out of the way and shuffle off to Buffalo so those who would truly be benefitted by it can do so. God made the stuff; He did not make prednisone, and I've personally seen first hand what that diabolicial drug does to the human anatomy.
