As far as equipment goes there were reasons SGCP has the equipment it currently uses, cash available, size, access roads/paths and characteristics of the concessions all are part of it.
Without knowing location the characteristics of the JV site in detail we cannot really asses whether we could process it ourselves with our equipment. The new gear ADRC talked about (50 ton alluvial processor) is geared to dry deposit processing not the river dredging we have been doing.
There has been a lot of progress in modernizing gold "mining" equipment recently, thanks in no small part to Discovery channel!
I hope they get started soon and we can both gain from their success and learn as to whether to use the cash we get to buy new gear for next season.
The more I think about it the more upside there is.
