I know Elis posted some info on Receivership a while back but can't find it. My question: Does receivership automatically mean the company will be disolved, assets sold, shareholders last to be paid if at all, etc? If that is the case, what is the difference between receivership & bankruptcy? I was under the impression there may be other options under receivership to save the company and get it on firmer footing? Your feedback and anyone else's if they know would be helpful.
