Yes, you do need some schooling on how splits work. When a stock splits more shares are issued, but the price is adjusted accordingly. When this stock split on 5/19, it was valued at $17.00. It split and became 1/100th of the price it used to be, thus making it .17. Now everyone has more shares at a lower price, leaving the market cap the same. It traded up to .25 for a while and then fell for seemingly no reason. When a stock splits it does not need to correct itself by dropping because it doesn't become overvalued suddenly. If this were true, what company in its right mind would split their stock? The drop in price from .25 to .01 is a mystery to me and probably most others. IMO this stock is very much UNDERVALUED and probably a decent buy based simply on technicals alone.
