In case you missed it, Mitt Romney won Nevada's Republican caucus

Mitt Romney is resonating with 16,000 Nevadans ... (Jim Young/Reuters)

It only took the inept, math-challenged Republicans in Nevada about 30 hours to count 33,000 votes, but early this morning they finally managed to officially declare a winner in Saturday's GOP caucus: Mitt Romney.

And while Romney was quick to tweet that his 16,000 or so votes proved that his message was resonating "through the west and across the country," he left out this little factoid:

Total turnout was 32,930, far less than the 44,000 Republicans who voted in the GOP caucuses in 2008.

... and far, far less than the 70,000 vote turnout that Nevada Republicans were predicting last week. This probably has a lot to do with the fact that the more people get to know Mitt Romney, the less they like him—even as Republicans are slowly accepting the fact that they're stuck with him.
