DST Systems, Inc. (DST) offers information processing and software services and products. DST operates in two segments: Financial Services and Output Solutions. In addition, investments in the Company's real estate subsidiaries and affiliates, equity securities, private equity funds and certain financial interests have been aggregated into the Investments and Other Segment. In May 2011, the Company acquired Newkirk Products, Inc. On July 30, 2010, DST, through its wholly owned United Kingdom subsidiary, Innovative Output Solutions Limited (IOS), acquired dsicmm Group Limited (dsicmm), a provider of print/mail services in the United Kingdom. In June 2011, it acquired Subserveo, Inc.

Never, invest with money you need to survive. Diversify, patience, set tight stops. $20 or less in commission fees is almost always cheaper than a 5-40%+ drop in share value.
